I’ve been making up stories since I knew what a story was, and I’ve been drawing or writing them down since I could hold a crayon. For many years I wanted to publish a book, but there was one problem, I never managed to finish one. Something else, another idea, always caught my attention (the many unfinished word docs on my computer can attest to that). My genre of choice for a time was sword and sorcery. As time went on however, my genre interests have broadened dramatically, to include sci-fi and psychological thrillers.

My husband Jamie and I were high school sweethearts that lost touch when he joined the Navy in 1992. In 2008, after spending several years living in Colorado, I moved back to my home state of Maine. Shortly after, Jamie returned as well from Wisconsin, and we reconnected, finally tying the knot in 2011.

Jamie and I moved to Hawaii in 2012, and quickly fell in love with the Islands. We’ve both decided this is home. I’ve found inspiration and drive here to write, and started Paragon in 2013 after a night of stargazing.
